![]() So, don't know if I should consider myself lucky, or if the negative reports are a case of vocal minority (often with products, why talk about a product that works fine?) or people being very critical and picky (rightfully so) of a 800 dollar product, but there you have it, I got it and love it, and will use it for awhile while the market for high refresh IPS/OLED adaptive sync monitors matures. But it's not something I personally notice in use, while viewing dead on. If you aren't viewing the image dead on, you will see minor color shift. If I had one complaint, the view angles are a but unforgiving, but I don't think it's much worse than any other TN panel, the 27" size just makes it less forgiving. Way better colors than my other TN's, (But, predictably, not quite up to my IPS panels, though it's no embarrassment side by side) and personally have had zero issues with crosshatching or uneven backlighting. But seeing the monitor in stock, eh I splurged. I knew the issues, heard the complaints, and had my doubts. (Go figure, internet is sold out, retail stores have what you want.) ![]() So, I got mine at a local Frys, they had some in stock for the retail 799, I've heard quite a few people having luck there.
